With regard to the application of the provisions of the preceding paragraph during the period from the Item (i) Effective Date to the day before the effective date of this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), the phrase "Article 61-8-3, paragraph (2) of the Immigration Control Act as Amended by Article 2" in the same paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "Article 61-9-3, paragraph (2) of the Immigration Control Act".
