Supplementary Provisions, Article 8-2Special Provisions on the Age at Which Payment of Employees' Old-Age Pensions Under the Special Provisions Begins
第八条の二（特例による老齢厚生年金の支給開始年齢の特例）
In the case of applying the provisions of the preceding Article to a man or woman (limited to a person who is a category II EPI insured or has a category II EPI insured period, a person who is a category III EPI insured or has a category III EPI insured period, or a person who is a category IV EPI insured or has a category IV EPI insured period) who is a person set forth in the left-hand column of the following table (excluding persons prescribed in paragraphs (3) and (4)), the phrase "60 years of age" in item (i) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with the phrase set forth in the right-hand column of that table, respectively.

男子又は女子（第二号厚生年金被保険者であり、若しくは第二号厚生年金被保険者期間を有する者、第三号厚生年金被保険者であり、若しくは第三号厚生年金被保険者期間を有する者又は第四号厚生年金被保険者であり、若しくは第四号厚生年金被保険者期間を有する者に限る。）であつて次の表の上欄に掲げる者（第三項及び第四項に規定する者を除く。）について前条の規定を適用する場合においては、同条第一号中「六十歳」とあるのは、それぞれ同表の下欄に掲げる字句に読み替えるものとする。

In the case of applying the provisions of the preceding Article to a woman (limited to a person who is a category I EPI insured or has a category I EPI insured period) who is a person set forth in the left-hand column of the following table (excluding persons prescribed in the following paragraph and paragraph (4)), the phrase "60 years of age" in item (i) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with the phrase set forth in the right-hand column of that table, respectively.

In the case of applying the provisions of the preceding Article to a person for whom the total of the period of being an insured mine worker and the period of being a mariner insured is 15 years or more and who is set forth in the left-hand column of the following table (excluding persons prescribed in the following paragraph), the phrase "60 years of age" in item (i) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with the phrase set forth in the right-hand column of that table, respectively, and the phrase "has an insured period of one year or more" in item (ii) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "has a total period of 15 years or more, combining the period of being an insured mine worker and the period of being a mariner insured".

坑内員たる被保険者であつた期間と船員たる被保険者であつた期間とを合算した期間が十五年以上である者であつて、次の表の上欄に掲げるもの（次項に規定する者を除く。）について前条の規定を適用する場合においては、同条第一号中「六十歳」とあるのはそれぞれ同表の下欄に掲げる字句に、同条第二号中「一年以上の被保険者期間を有する」とあるのは「坑内員たる被保険者であつた期間と船員たる被保険者であつた期間とを合算した期間が十五年以上である」と読み替えるものとする。
