Creditors of a liquidating stock company (excluding known creditors) who fail to state their claims during the period under Article 499, paragraph (1) are excluded from the liquidation.
清算株式会社の債権者（知れている債権者を除く。）であって第四百九十九条第一項の期間内にその債権の申出をしなかったものは、清算から除斥される。
Creditors who are excluded from the liquidation pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph may demand the performance with respect to the residual assets that are not distributed.
前項の規定により清算から除斥された債権者は、分配がされていない残余財産に対してのみ、弁済を請求することができる。
If residual assets of a liquidating stock company have been distributed to some shareholders, the assets necessary for the distribution to shareholders other than relevant shareholders in the same proportion as that applied for the distribution received by relevant shareholders are deducted from the residual assets under the preceding paragraph.
