第四条（第一条の規定の施行に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 486, paragraph (2) of the Civil Code as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (referred to as the "New Civil Code" in the following paragraph) apply to a request, made on or after the Effective Date, for the provision of an electronic or magnetic record that records the content of a receipt under the provisions of that paragraph.
第一条の規定による改正後の民法（次項において「新民法」という。）第四百八十六条第二項の規定は、施行日以後にされる同項の規定による受取証書の内容を記録した電磁的記録の提供の請求について適用する。
The provisions of the second sentence of Article 984 of the New Civil Code apply to a notarial will or sealed and notarized will made on or after the Effective Date under the provisions of the first sentence of that Article, and with regard to a notarial will or sealed and notarized will made before the Effective Date under the provisions of Article 984 of the Civil Code before amendment by the provisions of Article 1, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
新民法第九百八十四条後段の規定は、施行日以後にされる同条前段の規定による公正証書遺言又は秘密証書遺言について適用し、施行日前にされた第一条の規定による改正前の民法第九百八十四条の規定による公正証書遺言又は秘密証書遺言については、なお従前の例による。
