第八条（遺言執行者の権利義務等に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 1007, paragraph (2) and Article 1012 of the New Civil Code also apply to a person who becomes an executor on or after the Effective Date with regard to succession that commenced before the Effective Date.
新民法第千七条第二項及び第千十二条の規定は、施行日前に開始した相続に関し、施行日以後に遺言執行者となる者にも、適用する。
The provisions of Article 1014, paragraphs (2) through (4) of the New Civil Code do not apply to the execution, by an executor, of a will that concerns specific property and was made before the Effective Date.
新民法第千十四条第二項から第四項までの規定は、施行日前にされた特定の財産に関する遺言に係る遺言執行者によるその執行については、適用しない。
With regard to the right of an executor of a will made before the Effective Date to appoint a subagent, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 1016 of the New Civil Code.
