The provisions of Article 26, paragraphs (1), (2), (5) through (7) and (14) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 1994 Amendment Act apply mutatis mutandis to the month that includes a day on which the beneficiary of an employees' old-age pension prescribed in paragraph (1) of that Article (limited to a woman) is an insured covered by employees' pension insurance (limited to a person who has had the status of an insured continuously from a day that fell in the month before the previous month), in the case where that person is able to receive payment of a basic continuous employment benefit for the elderly or a re-employment benefit for the elderly under the provisions of the Mariners Insurance Act prior to amendment by Article 4 of the Act Partially Amending the Employment Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 30 of 2007), with respect to which the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to Article 42, paragraph (4) or (5) of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act. In this case, necessary technical replacement of terms in connection with those provisions is specified by Cabinet Order.
