①This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation.

②With regard to a disability pension or pension for surviving family under the provisions of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act for a person who has the right to receive the compensation listed in Article 3, item (iii) or (iv) of the Act on Occupational Accident Compensation for Public School Physicians, Dentists, and Pharmacists prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Act") (hereinafter in this paragraph and the following paragraph referred to as "disability compensation, etc."), whose payment is, at the time of enforcement of this Act, currently suspended pursuant to the provisions of Article 54 or Article 64 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 2 (hereinafter in this paragraph referred to as the "Former Employees' Pension Insurance Act"), the provisions then in force continue to govern; provided, however, that where a person who has the right to receive disability compensation that is a pension specified by Cabinet Order, among disability compensation, etc., is subject to the application of the provisions of Article 54 of the Former Employees' Pension Insurance Act, the disability pension is to be paid starting with the portion for the month that includes the date of enforcement of this Act, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 36, paragraph (2) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act.
