This Act comes into effect as of October 1, 2015; provided, however, that the provisions listed in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.

With regard to the application of the provisions of item (iii) of Appended Table 1 of the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of the preceding Article, for the time being, the phrase "cases prescribed" in that item is deemed to be replaced with "cases prescribed and cases where, for that same reason, a disability mutual aid pension or survivors' mutual aid pension is paid under the provisions of the pre-amendment National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act prescribed in Article 4, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012), the pre-amendment Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act prescribed in item (vi) of that Article, or the pre-amendment Private School Personnel Mutual Aid Association Act prescribed in item (ix) of that Article".

With regard to the application of the provisions of the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 115 of the Supplementary Provisions (hereinafter referred to as the "amended Industrial Accident Insurance Act" in this Article) to a person to whom a disability mutual aid pension or survivors' mutual aid pension is paid pursuant to the provisions of Article 41, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions or a person to whom a disability mutual aid pension or survivors' mutual aid pension is paid pursuant to the provisions of Article 65, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions, the term "employee's disability pension" in Article 14, paragraph (2) of the amended Industrial Accident Insurance Act is deemed to be replaced with "employee's disability pension or a disability mutual aid pension under the provisions of Article 41, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012) (hereinafter referred to as a 'national public officer disability mutual aid pension') or a disability mutual aid pension under the provisions of Article 65, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act (hereinafter referred to as a 'local public officer disability mutual aid pension')"; the term "employee's disability pension" in Appended Table 1, item (i) of the amended Industrial Accident Insurance Act (limited to the part other than (a) and (b)) is deemed to be replaced with "employee's disability pension or a national public officer disability mutual aid pension or local public officer disability mutual aid pension", and the term "employee's survivors' pension" in that item is deemed to be replaced with "employee's survivors' pension or a survivors' mutual aid pension under the provisions of Article 41, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (hereinafter referred to as a 'national public officer survivors' mutual aid pension') or a survivors' mutual aid pension under the provisions of Article 65, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act (hereinafter referred to as a 'local public officer survivors' mutual aid pension')"; the term "employee's disability pension" in (a) of that item is deemed to be replaced with "employee's disability pension, or a national public officer disability mutual aid pension or local public officer disability mutual aid pension"; the phrase "'employee's survivors' pension'" in (b) of that item is deemed to be replaced with "'employee's survivors' pension', the term 'national public officer disability mutual aid pension' is deemed to be replaced with 'national public officer survivors' mutual aid pension', and the term 'local public officer disability mutual aid pension' is deemed to be replaced with 'local public officer survivors' mutual aid pension'"; and the phrase "or employee's survivors' pension" in item (ii) of that Table is deemed to be replaced with "or employee's survivors' pension, or a national public officer disability mutual aid pension, national public officer survivors' mutual aid pension, local public officer disability mutual aid pension or local public officer survivors' mutual aid pension".

Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary incidental to the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
