Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 1996; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified in the respective items:
この法律は、平成八年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Article 1 amending Article 23, paragraph (1), Article 51, Article 53 and Appended Table 1 of the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act, the provisions of Article 3 amending Appended Table 3 of the Mariners Insurance Act and the provisions of Article 4, and the provisions of the following Article, Article 5, paragraph (2) and Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions: August 1, 1995;
第一条中労働者災害補償保険法第二十三条第一項、第五十一条、第五十三条及び別表第一の改正規定、第三条中船員保険法別表第三の改正規定並びに第四条の規定並びに次条、附則第五条第二項及び第六条の規定 平成七年八月一日

Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Accompanying the Enforcement of the Provisions of Article 1
第二条（第一条の規定の施行に伴う経過措置）
The provisions then in force continue to govern the amounts of compensation pensions for surviving family and pensions for surviving family under the provisions of the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act for periods before August 1, 1995.
平成七年八月一日前の期間に係る労働者災害補償保険法の規定による遺族補償年金及び遺族年金の額については、なお従前の例による。
