第百九十九条（殺人）
A person who kills another person is punished by the death penalty or imprisonment for life or for a definite term of 5 years or more.
人を殺した者は、死刑又は無期若しくは五年以上の拘禁刑に処する。

第二百一条（予備）
A person who prepares for the commission of a crime prescribed under Article 199 is punished by imprisonment for 2 years or less; provided, however, that the person may be exculpated in light of circumstances.
第百九十九条の罪を犯す目的で、その予備をした者は、二年以下の拘禁刑に処する。ただし、情状により、その刑を免除することができる。
Article 202Participation in Assisted Suicide; Consensual Homicide
第二百二条（自殺関与及び同意殺人）
A person who induces or aids another person to commit suicide, or kills another person at the other's request or with other's consent, is punished by imprisonment for 6 months or more and 7 years or less.
人を教唆し若しくは幇助して自殺させ、又は人をその嘱託を受け若しくはその承諾を得て殺した者は、六月以上七年以下の拘禁刑に処する。
第二百三条（未遂罪）
Any attempt to commit the crimes prescribed under Article 199 and the preceding Article is punished.
