A person who commits a crime prescribed under Article 176 or paragraph (1) of Article 179, or any attempt to commit the crimes mentioned above, and thereby causes the death or injury of another person is punished by imprisonment for life or for a definite term of 3 years or more.
A person who commits a crime prescribed under Article 177 or paragraph (2) of Article 179, or any attempt to commit the crimes mentioned above, and thereby causes the death or injury of another person is punished by imprisonment for life or for a definite term of 6 years or more.
