Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Civil Code
第七条（民法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With respect to a bankruptcy case pertaining to a petition for bankruptcy filed before the Effective Date or a declaration of bankruptcy made sua sponte before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 276, 621 and 642, paragraph (2) of the Civil Code as amended pursuant to the provisions of Article 6.
施行日前にされた破産の申立て又は施行日前に職権でされた破産の宣告に係る破産事件については、第六条の規定による改正後の民法第二百七十六条、第六百二十一条及び第六百四十二条第二項の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
