The confirmation under Article 38, paragraph (2) of the Act is to be made by the Chief of the Public Employment Security Office, with regard to a person who falls under any of the items of paragraph (1) of that Article, when the Chief makes the confirmation that the person has become an insured person, or when the Chief comes to know, through a notification by an insured person or an investigation conducted ex officio, that the insured person is a person listed in those items.
The provisions of Article 9 apply mutatis mutandis to the confirmation under the preceding paragraph.
