Supplementary Provisions, Article 85Transitional Measures Concerning the Insured Period of Members and Former Members of Employees' Pension Funds

第八十五条（厚生年金基金の加入員又は加入員であった者に係る被保険者期間の経過措置）

In the case of calculating the insured period of employees' pension insurance of a member or former member of an employees' pension Fund, the provisions of Article 19-2 of the pre-amendment Employees' Pension Insurance Act remain in force.

厚生年金基金の加入員又は加入員であった者に係る厚生年金保険の被保険者期間を計算する場合においては、改正前厚生年金保険法第十九条の二の規定は、なおその効力を有する。

In the provisions of this Act as it stood before Act No. 63 of 2013 that Article 5 of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) keeps in force, a surviving employees' pension fund (存続厚生年金基金) as Article 3, item (xi) of those supplementary provisions defines it: one that continues to exist under Article 4 of them, or was set up after that Act came into effect under the former rules as Article 6 of them allows.
