Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on January 1, 2015;provided, however, that the provisions amending Article 7 and the provisions of the following Article come into effect as of the date on which the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances (referred to as the "Audiovisual Performances Treaty" in those Articles) takes effect in Japan.
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Application of Provisions on Neighboring Rights
第二条（著作隣接権に関する規定の適用）
In the application of the provisions that concern neighboring rights (including the provisions of Article 95-3, paragraphs (3) and (4)) in the Copyright Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "new Act" in this Article) to a performance set forth in Article 7, item (iv) of the new Act (excluding one that falls under a performance set forth in items (i) through (iii) of that Article) or a performance set forth in item (v) of that Article, that relates to a performer who is a national of a Contracting Party to the Audiovisual Performances Treaty or a person who has habitual residence in that Contracting Party, the provisions of paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Copyright Act (Act No. 64 of 1986), paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Copyright Act (Act No. 43 of 1989; referred to as the "Amending Act of 1989" in the following paragraph), and paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Copyright Act (Act No. 63 of 1991) do not apply.
この法律による改正後の著作権法（以下この条において「新法」という。）第七条第四号に掲げる実演（同条第一号から第三号までに掲げる実演に該当するものを除く。）又は同条第五号に掲げる実演であって、視聴覚的実演条約の締約国の国民又は当該締約国に常居所を有する者である実演家に係るものに対する新法中著作隣接権に関する規定（第九十五条の三第三項及び第四項の規定を含む。）の適用については、著作権法の一部を改正する法律（昭和六十一年法律第六十四号）附則第三項、著作権法の一部を改正する法律（平成元年法律第四十三号。次項において「平成元年改正法」という。）附則第二項及び著作権法の一部を改正する法律（平成三年法律第六十三号）附則第二項の規定は、適用しない。
In the application of the provisions that concern neighboring rights (including the provisions of Article 95-3, paragraphs (3) and (4)) in the new Act to a performer who is a national of a Contracting Party to the Audiovisual Performances Treaty or a person who has habitual residence in that Contracting Party (limited to one who was a foreign national without habitual residence in Japan at the time the performance involving that performer took place), the provisions of paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Amending Act of 1989 do not apply.
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures for Print Rights
第三条（出版権についての経過措置）
Prior laws continue to govern print rights as under the Copyright Act prior to its amendment under this Act that have been established before this Act comes into effect and that exist as of the time this Act comes into effect.
この法律の施行前に設定されたこの法律による改正前の著作権法による出版権でこの法律の施行の際現に存するものについては、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 4Delegation to Cabinet Order
第四条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is prescribed in the provisions of the preceding two Articles, necessary transitional measures connected with the coming into effect of this Act are provided for by Cabinet Order.
前二条に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
