Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the days specified in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Articles 30 and 31 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
附則第三十条及び第三十一条の規定 公布の日
the provisions amending Article 968, Article 970, paragraph (2), and Article 982 of the Civil Code in Article 1, and the provisions of Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions: the day on which six months have elapsed from the date of promulgation;
第一条中民法第九百六十八条、第九百七十条第二項及び第九百八十二条の改正規定並びに附則第六条の規定 公布の日から起算して六月を経過した日
the provisions amending Article 998, Article 1000, and the proviso to Article 1025 of the Civil Code in Article 1, and the provisions of Articles 7 and 9 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of enforcement of the Act for Partially Amending the Civil Code (Act No. 44 of 2017);
the provisions of Article 2 and Articles 10, 13, 14, 17, 18 and 23 through 26 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding two years from the date of promulgation.
第二条並びに附則第十条、第十三条、第十四条、第十七条、第十八条及び第二十三条から第二十六条までの規定 公布の日から起算して二年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
