Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 9 months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して九月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

the provisions of Article 3 (excluding the provisions amending the table of contents of the Act on the Promotion of Housing Quality Assurance, etc., the provisions adding one Article after Article 6 of that Act, the provisions amending Article 14 of that Act and the provisions amending Article 101, paragraph (1), item (i) of that Act) and Article 5 (excluding the provisions amending the table of contents of the Act on Assurance of Performance of Specified Housing Defect Warranty (limited to the part replacing "Newly Built Housing" with "Newly Built Housing, etc."), the provisions amending the title of Chapter V of that Act and the provisions amending Article 33, paragraph (1) of that Act), and the provisions of Articles 3, 4, 7 and 8 of the Supplementary Provisions: September 30, 2021.
第三条（住宅の品質確保の促進等に関する法律の目次の改正規定、同法第六条の次に一条を加える改正規定、同法第十四条の改正規定及び同法第百一条第一項第一号の改正規定を除く。）及び第五条（特定住宅瑕疵担保責任の履行の確保等に関する法律の目次の改正規定（「新築住宅」を「新築住宅等」に改める部分に限る。）、同法第五章の章名の改正規定及び同法第三十三条第一項の改正規定を除く。）の規定並びに附則第三条、第四条、第七条及び第八条の規定 令和三年九月三十日
