This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the days specified in those items.

With regard to rescission of the license or any other supervisory disposition against a person who, at the time the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (i) of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect, has been granted the license referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 4, the provisions then in force continue to govern with respect to grounds that arose before the provisions set forth in that item come into effect.

Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, the transitional measures necessary in connection with the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.

If five years have elapsed since this Act comes into effect, the Government is to review the status of the enforcement of the provisions as amended by the provisions of Articles 1 through 4, and if it finds it necessary, is to take necessary measures based on the results.
