Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation (hereinafter referred to as "the effective date"); provided, however, that the provisions listed in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in the respective items:
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日（以下「施行日」という。）から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Article 1 amending the Banking Act by deleting Article 17-2 and amending Article 47, paragraph (2) of that Act (limited to the part deleting ", Article 17-2"), the provisions of Article 3 amending the Insurance Business Act by deleting Article 112-2 and amending Article 270-6, paragraph (2), item (i) of that Act, the provisions of Article 4 deleting Article 55-3, the provisions of Articles 8, 9, 13 and 14, and the provisions of the following Article, Article 9 and Articles 13 through 16 of the Supplementary Provisions: the day on which one month has elapsed from the date of promulgation;
第一条中銀行法第十七条の二を削る改正規定及び第四十七条第二項の改正規定（「、第十七条の二」を削る部分に限る。）、第三条中保険業法第百十二条の二を削る改正規定及び第二百七十条の六第二項第一号の改正規定、第四条中第五十五条の三を削る改正規定、第八条、第九条、第十三条並びに第十四条の規定並びに次条、附則第九条及び第十三条から第十六条までの規定 公布の日から起算して一月を経過した日
the provisions of Articles 10 through 12, and the provisions of Articles 10 through 12 and Article 17 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding three months from the date of promulgation.
第十条から第十二条までの規定並びに附則第十条から第十二条まで及び第十七条の規定 公布の日から起算して三月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
Supplementary Provisions, Article 11Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Real Estate Brokerage Act
第十一条（宅地建物取引業法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to a Bank concurrently engaged in trust operations that is actually engaged in Real Estate Brokerage at the time the provisions of Article 11 come into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 77 of the Real Estate Brokerage Act as amended by the provisions of that Article.
信託業務を兼営する銀行で第十一条の規定の施行の際現に宅地建物取引業を営んでいるものについては、同条の規定による改正後の宅地建物取引業法第七十七条の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 13Delegation of Authority
第十三条（権限の委任）
The Prime Minister delegates the authority under the provisions of these Supplementary Provisions (excluding that specified by Cabinet Order) to the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency.
内閣総理大臣は、この附則の規定による権限（政令で定めるものを除く。）を金融庁長官に委任する。
The Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency may, pursuant to the provisions of Cabinet Order, delegate part of the authority delegated pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph to the Director-General of a Local Finance Bureau or the Director-General of a Local Finance Branch Bureau.
前項の規定により金融庁長官に委任された権限については、政令で定めるところにより、その一部を財務局長又は財務支局長に委任することができる。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 14Effect of Dispositions
第十四条（処分等の効力）
Dispositions, procedures, or other acts carried out pursuant to the provisions of the respective Acts prior to amendment (including orders based on them; the same applies hereinafter in this Article) before the respective amending provisions of this Act come into effect, for which the respective Acts after amendment contain equivalent provisions, are deemed to have been carried out pursuant to the equivalent provisions of the respective Acts after amendment, except as otherwise provided for in these Supplementary Provisions.
この法律の各改正規定の施行前に改正前のそれぞれの法律（これに基づく命令を含む。以下この条において同じ。）の規定によってした処分、手続その他の行為であって、改正後のそれぞれの法律の規定に相当の規定があるものは、この附則に別段の定めがあるものを除き、改正後のそれぞれの法律の相当の規定によってしたものとみなす。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 15Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第十五条（罰則に関する経過措置）
The provisions then in force continue to govern, respectively, the application of penal provisions to conduct engaged in before the respective amending provisions of this Act come into effect and to conduct engaged in after the respective amending provisions come into effect with regard to matters for which the provisions then in force are to continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of these Supplementary Provisions.
この法律の各改正規定の施行前にした行為及びこの附則の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる事項に係る各改正規定の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、それぞれなお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 16Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
第十六条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in Article 2 through the preceding Article of the Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary in connection with the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
附則第二条から前条までに定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に係る経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
