Supplementary Provisions, Article 8Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Real Estate Brokerage Act
第八条（宅地建物取引業法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
A person who intends to obtain the registration under Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act as amended by the provisions of Article 7 (hereinafter referred to as the "new Brokerage Act" in this Article) may file an application therefor even before the provisions of Article 7 come into effect. The same applies to the notification of the Regulations Governing Training Course Operations under the provisions of Article 17-9, paragraph (1) of the new Brokerage Act.
第七条の規定による改正後の宅地建物取引業法（以下この条において「新取引業法」という。）第十六条第三項の登録を受けようとする者は、第七条の規定の施行前においても、その申請を行うことができる。新取引業法第十七条の九第一項の規定による講習業務規程の届出についても、同様とする。
A person that, at the time the provisions of Article 7 come into effect, has actually been designated under Article 16, paragraph (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act prior to the amendment by the provisions of that Article (hereinafter referred to as the "former Brokerage Act" in this Article) is deemed to have obtained the registration under Article 16, paragraph (3) of the new Brokerage Act until the day on which six months have elapsed from the date on which the provisions of Article 7 come into effect.
第七条の規定の施行の際現に同条の規定による改正前の宅地建物取引業法（以下この条において「旧取引業法」という。）第十六条第三項の指定を受けている者は、第七条の規定の施行の日から起算して六月を経過する日までの間は、新取引業法第十六条第三項の登録を受けているものとみなす。
A training course that was conducted pursuant to the provisions of Article 16, paragraph (3) of the former Brokerage Act by a person that had been designated under that paragraph and that was completed within three years before the provisions of Article 7 come into effect is deemed to be a training course conducted pursuant to the provisions of Article 16, paragraph (3) of the new Brokerage Act by a person that has obtained the registration under that paragraph, until the day on which three years have elapsed from the date on which the curriculum of that training course was completed.
第七条の規定の施行前三年以内に修了した旧取引業法第十六条第三項の指定を受けた者が同項の規定により行った講習は、その講習の課程を修了した日から起算して三年を経過する日までの間は、新取引業法第十六条第三項の登録を受けた者が同項の規定により行う講習とみなす。
