Article 28Parole

第二十八条(仮釈放)

When a person sentenced to imprisonment evinces signs of substantial reformation, the person may be paroled by a disposition of a government agency after that person has served one-third of the definite term sentenced or 10 years in the case of a life imprisonment.

拘禁刑に処せられた者に改悛の状があるときは、有期刑についてはその刑期の三分の一を、無期刑については十年を経過した後、行政官庁の処分によって仮に釈放することができる。
