A person who causes a flood to damage any object not provided in the preceding Article and thereby endangers the public is punished by imprisonment for 1 year or more and 10 years or less.
出水させて、前条に規定する物以外の物を浸害し、よって公共の危険を生じさせた者は、一年以上十年以下の拘禁刑に処する。
When the object damaged by a flood belongs to the offender, the provision of the preceding paragraph applies only when the object is subject to attachment, encumbrance, lease, the establishment of a spouse's right of residence or insurance.
浸害した物が自己の所有に係るときは、その物が差押えを受け、物権を負担し、賃貸し、配偶者居住権が設定され、又は保険に付したものである場合に限り、前項の例による。
