Supplementary Provisions, Article 4Continuation of Former Employees' Pension Funds

第四条（旧厚生年金基金の存続）

A former employees' pension Fund that exists at the time of enforcement of this Act is to continue to exist, even on or after the Effective Date, as an employees' pension Fund established pursuant to the provisions of the pre-amendment Employees' Pension Insurance Act.

旧厚生年金基金であってこの法律の施行の際現に存するものは、施行日以後も、改正前厚生年金保険法の規定により設立された厚生年金基金としてなお存続するものとする。

An employees' pension fund (厚生年金基金) set up under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 63 of 2013 amended it, as Article 3, item (x) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of that Act defines it.

employees' pension fund
厚生年金基金（こうせいねんきんききん）
An employees' pension fund as Article 3, item (xii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2013 defines it for those supplementary provisions: either a former employees' pension fund (旧厚生年金基金), one set up under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before Article 1 of that Act amended it, or a surviving employees' pension fund (存続厚生年金基金), one that continues to exist under Article 4 of those supplementary provisions or was set up after that Act came into effect under the former rules, as Article 6 of them allows.
