Supplementary Provisions, Article 89
第八十九条
Of the expenses required for pension insurance benefits for causes arising from duty under the provisions of the former Mariners Insurance Act for which the grounds for payment arose before the Effective Date, the expenses set forth in the following items (excluding the amount equivalent to the expenses to be borne by the national treasury for which, pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Mariners Insurance Act (Act No. 103 of 1947), the provisions then in force continue to govern) are borne, as specified by Cabinet Order, by the government that administers workers' accident compensation insurance.
施行日前に支給事由の生じた旧船員保険法の規定による職務上の事由による年金たる保険給付に要する費用のうち、次の各号に掲げる費用（船員保険法の一部を改正する法律（昭和二十二年法律第百三号）附則第三条の規定によりなお従前の例によるものとされた国庫の負担すべき費用に相当する額を除く。）については、政令で定めるところにより、労働者災害補償保険の管掌者たる政府が負担する。
the portion of the expenses required for the payment of a disability pension that is equivalent to the amount obtained by deducting, from the amount of that disability pension, the amount equal to twice the amount set forth in Article 41, paragraph (1), item (i), (b) of the former Mariners Insurance Act (or, if that amount exceeds the amount of that pension, the amount of that pension);
障害年金の給付に要する費用のうち、当該障害年金の額から旧船員保険法第四十一条第一項第一号ロの額の二倍に相当する額（その額が当該年金額を超えるときは、当該年金額）を控除した額に相当する部分
the portion of the expenses required for the payment of a pension for surviving family that is equivalent to the amount obtained by deducting, from the amount of that pension for surviving family, the amount equal to twice the total of the amounts set forth in Article 50-2, paragraph (1), item (iii), (b) and (c) of the former Mariners Insurance Act and the amount of the additional allowance under the provisions of Article 50-3-2 of that Act (or, if that amount exceeds the amount of that pension, the amount of that pension).
遺族年金の給付に要する費用のうち、当該遺族年金の額から旧船員保険法第五十条ノ二第一項第三号ロ及びハの額並びに同法第五十条ノ三ノ二の規定による加給金の額を合算した額の二倍に相当する額（その額が当該年金額を超えるときは、当該年金額）を控除した額に相当する部分
