Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year and six months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions listed in the following items come into effect as of the date specified in the respective items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Article 2 and Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date on which the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code (Act No. 44 of 2017) comes into effect
第二条の規定及び附則第三条の規定 民法の一部を改正する法律（平成二十九年法律第四十四号）の施行の日
the provisions of Article 8 of the Supplementary Provisions: whichever is later of the date of promulgation of the Act on the Arrangement of Related Acts upon the Enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code (Act No. 45 of 2017) or the date of promulgation of this Act
附則第八条の規定 民法の一部を改正する法律の施行に伴う関係法律の整備等に関する法律（平成二十九年法律第四十五号）の公布の日又はこの法律の公布の日のいずれか遅い日
