附 則
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2000.
この法律は、平成十二年四月一日から施行する。
The provisions of Article 89 of the School Education Act do not apply to persons who have continued to be enrolled in a university since before the day on which this Act comes into effect (including, among persons who were enrolled in a university before that day and have again come to be enrolled in a university on or after that day, those specified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology).
学校教育法第八十九条の規定は、この法律の施行の日前から引き続き大学に在学する者（同日前に大学に在学し、同日以後に再び大学に在学することとなった者のうち、文部科学大臣の定める者を含む。）については、適用しない。
