Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 2016; provided, however, that the provisions of the following Article, and of Article 3 and Article 20 of the Supplementary Provisions, come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Acts Necessary for Establishment of Compulsory Education Schools
第二条（義務教育学校の設置のため必要な行為）
Procedures and other acts necessary for the establishment of compulsory education schools may be carried out even before this Act comes into effect.
義務教育学校の設置のため必要な手続その他の行為は、この法律の施行前においても行うことができる。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Delegation to Cabinet Order
第三条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in the preceding Article, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
前条に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
