Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of April 1, 2019; provided, however, that the provisions of the following Article and Article 48 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Acts Necessary for Establishment of Professional and Vocational Universities, Etc.
第二条（専門職大学等の設置のため必要な行為）
Procedures and other acts necessary for the establishment of a professional and vocational university or a university set forth in Article 108, paragraph (4) of the School Education Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "New School Education Act") may be carried out even before the date on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date").
専門職大学又はこの法律による改正後の学校教育法（以下「新学校教育法」という。）第百八条第四項の大学の設置のため必要な手続その他の行為は、この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）前においても行うことができる。

第四十八条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary in connection with the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
