第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から施行する。

第二条（高等専門学校の設置）
A college of technology may not be established before April 1, 1962; provided, however, that this does not preclude the taking, before that date, of procedures and other acts necessary for its establishment.
高等専門学校は、昭和三十七年四月一日前には、設置することができない。ただし、同日前にその設置のため必要な手続その他の行為をすることを妨げない。
