Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day on which 6 months have elapsed from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を経過した日から施行する。

第二条（各種学校等に関する経過措置）
A miscellaneous school existing at the time this Act comes into effect (excluding one that falls under an educational facility exclusively targeting foreign nationals residing in Japan) that intends to provide specialized training college education under Article 124 of the School Education Act may become a specialized training college under the provisions of that Act by obtaining approval for the establishment of an upper secondary course, post-secondary course or general course under the provisions of Article 130, paragraph (1) of that Act.
この法律の施行の際現に存する各種学校（我が国に居住する外国人を専ら対象とする教育施設に該当するものを除く。）で学校教育法第百二十四条の専修学校の教育を行おうとするものは、同法第百三十条第一項の規定による高等課程、専門課程又は一般課程の設置の認可を受けることにより、同法の規定による専修学校となることができる。
With regard to the application of Article 134, paragraph (1) of the School Education Act to a miscellaneous school prescribed in the preceding paragraph, the provisions then in force continue to govern until such a miscellaneous school becomes a specialized training college under the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
前項に規定する各種学校に係る学校教育法第百三十四条第一項の規定の適用については、当該各種学校が前項の規定により専修学校となるまでの間は、なお従前の例による。
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
