Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 9 months from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して九月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
The provisions of Article 2 revising Appended Table I of the Residential Basic Book Act (limited to the part changing row 57-4 of that Table to row 57-5 of that Table, and adding, as follows, after row 57-3 of that Table), the provisions revising Appended Table II of that Act (excluding the part set forth in item (x)), the provisions revising Appended Table III of that Act (excluding the part set forth in that item), the provisions revising Appended Table IV of that Act (excluding the part set forth in that item), and the provisions revising Appended Table V of that Act (excluding the part set forth in that item); the provisions of Article 3 revising Article 17, paragraph (3) of the Act on Certification Business of the Japan Agency for Local Authority Information Systems in Relation to Electronic Signatures, etc. (excluding the part pertaining to item (iii) of that paragraph, and the part pertaining to item (xi) of that paragraph (limited to the part revising "Article 57" to "Article 57, paragraph (1)")), the provisions revising Article 18 of that Act, the provisions revising Article 37, paragraph (3) of that Act (excluding the part pertaining to item (i) of that paragraph, and the part pertaining to item (v) of that paragraph (limited to the part revising "Article 57" to "Article 57, paragraph (1)")), the provisions revising Article 56 of that Act (including the caption), the provisions revising the caption of Article 57 of that Act (limited to the part revising "an entrusted person, etc. for computer processing, etc." to "a user certification verifier, etc."), and the provisions revising that Article (excluding the part adding two paragraphs to that Article); and the provisions of Article 4 revising Appended Table 1 and Appended Table 2 of the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (hereinafter referred to in this Article through Article 6 of the Supplementary Provisions as the "Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures"), and the provisions of Article 7, and the provisions of Article 3, Article 7 through Article 9, Article 68 and Article 80 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation.
