Supplementary Provisions, Article 17Transitional Measures Concerning the Application of Employees' Pension Insurance to Part-Time Workers

With respect to a person for whom the provisions of Article 12 of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act (limited to the part pertaining to item (v)) are not applied under the provisions of Article 16 of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Function Strengthening Act and who continues to hold status as an insured covered by employees' pension insurance until the date of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, paragraph (1), item (ix) of the Supplementary Provisions (hereinafter referred to as the "item (ix) Effective Date"), the provisions of Article 4-6 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 3 (limited to the amending provisions set forth in that item) (referred to as the "Employees' Pension Insurance Act as Amended by the item (ix) Provisions" in Article 23, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions) do not apply while the person continues, on or after the item (ix) Effective Date, to be employed at the place of business or office at which the person was employed on the date of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (v) of the Supplementary Provisions of the 2012 Pension Function Strengthening Act (referred to as the "Pension Function Strengthening Act item (v) Effective Date" in Article 38 of the Supplementary Provisions).
