Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Replacement of Terms, etc. for the Period until the Day Preceding the Effective Date of This Act

①In the table of contents of the Code of Criminal Procedure as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "New Code of Criminal Procedure"), the phrase "Article 98-24" is deemed to be replaced with "Article 98-3" during the period from the item (iii) Effective Date until the day preceding the day on which the provisions set forth in item (v) of the preceding Article come into effect (hereinafter in this paragraph and paragraph (3) referred to as the "item (v) Effective Date"), and with "Article 98-11" during the period from the item (v) Effective Date until the day preceding the day on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date").

②With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 96, paragraph (7) of the New Code of Criminal Procedure during the period from the item (iii) Effective Date until the day preceding the Effective Date, the phrase "including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 414; the same applies in Article 98-17, paragraph (1), items (ii) and (iv)" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 414".

③With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 98-4, paragraph (2) of the New Code of Criminal Procedure during the period from the item (v) Effective Date until the day preceding the Effective Date, the phrase "paragraph (2), Article 98-11 and Article 98-18, paragraph (3)" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "paragraph (2) and Article 98-11".
