Supplementary Provisions

①This Cabinet Order comes into effect on the date of enforcement of the Administrative Appeal Act (Act No. 160 of 1962) (October 1, 1962).

②The provisions after the amendment by this Cabinet Order also apply to dispositions by administrative agencies made before the enforcement of this Cabinet Order and other matters arising before its enforcement; provided, however, that this does not preclude the effect that arose under the provisions before the amendment by this Cabinet Order.

③With regard to petitions, requests for review, filings of objections and other appeals filed before the enforcement of this Cabinet Order (hereinafter referred to as "administrative appeals, etc."), the provisions then in force continue to govern even after the enforcement of this Cabinet Order; the same applies to administrative appeals, etc. in the case where there is further dissatisfaction with a determination, decision or other disposition on administrative appeals, etc. made before the enforcement of this Cabinet Order (hereinafter referred to as "determination, etc.") or with a determination, etc. made after the enforcement of this Cabinet Order on administrative appeals, etc. filed before its enforcement.

④Among the administrative appeals, etc. prescribed in the preceding paragraph, those relating to a disposition against which an appeal under the Administrative Appeal Act may be filed after the enforcement of this Cabinet Order are deemed, for the application of the provisions after the amendment by this Cabinet Order, to be appeals under that Act.
