第八条（検討）
The government is to, in the case where five years have elapsed after this Act comes into effect, review the state of enforcement of the provisions of the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions and the Installment Sales Act as amended by this Act, and, when it finds it necessary, is to take the required measures based on the results of that review.
政府は、この法律の施行後五年を経過した場合において、この法律による改正後の特定商取引に関する法律及び割賦販売法の規定の施行の状況について検討を加え、必要があると認めるときは、その結果に基づいて所要の措置を講ずるものとする。
