Article 101-2-5Period Specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under Article 60-2, Paragraph (1), Item (ii) of the Act
第百一条の二の五（法第六十条の二第一項第二号の厚生労働省令で定める期間）
The period specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under Article 60-2, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the Act is one year (where a person who is unable to start the educational training prescribed in Article 60-2, paragraph (1) of the Act for 30 or more consecutive days due to pregnancy, childbirth, child-rearing, disease, injury, or any other reason that the Chief of the competent Public Employment Security Office finds unavoidable notifies the Chief of the competent Public Employment Security Office to that effect during the period from the day following the day on which the person came to fall under that description until the day on which 20 years have elapsed counting from the day on which the person ceased to be a generally insured person or an elderly insured person immediately before the day on which the person came to fall under that description (where the period added under this paragraph is less than 20 years, until the last day of that period), the number of days for which the person is unable to start that educational training for that reason is to be added, and where the added period exceeds 20 years, it is 20 years).
法第六十条の二第一項第二号の厚生労働省令で定める期間は、一年（当該期間内に妊娠、出産、育児、疾病、負傷その他管轄公共職業安定所の長がやむを得ないと認める理由により引き続き三十日以上法第六十条の二第一項に規定する教育訓練を開始することができない者が、当該者に該当するに至つた日の翌日から、当該者に該当するに至つた日の直前の一般被保険者又は高年齢被保険者でなくなつた日から起算して二十年を経過する日までの間（この項の規定により加算された期間が二十年に満たない場合は、当該期間の最後の日までの間）に管轄公共職業安定所の長にその旨を申し出た場合には、当該理由により当該教育訓練を開始することができない日数を加算するものとし、その加算された期間が二十年を超えるときは、二十年とする。）とする。
A person who intends to make the notification under the preceding paragraph must submit to the Chief of the competent Public Employment Security Office a written application for extension of the eligibility period for educational training benefits (Form No. 16), attaching documents capable of proving that the person is unable to start the educational training for 30 or more consecutive days for the reason referred to in the preceding paragraph.
When the Chief of the competent Public Employment Security Office finds that a person who has made the notification under paragraph (1) falls under the description of a person prescribed in that paragraph, the Chief must issue to that person a written notice of extension of the eligibility period for educational training benefits (Form No. 17).
