Article 101-2-7Rate Specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under Article 60-2, Paragraph (4) of the Act

一a person whose required period for payment prescribed in Article 60-2, paragraph (1) of the Act (hereinafter referred to as the "required period for payment" in this Article) is three years or more and who has taken and completed educational training designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as job-related educational training necessary for employment security and promotion of job placement (excluding the educational training prescribed in the following item and item (iv); hereinafter referred to as "general educational training"): 20/100;

二a person whose required period for payment is three years or more and who has taken and completed educational training designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as educational training that, among job-related educational training necessary for employment security and promotion of job placement, contributes to prompt re-employment and early career formation (excluding the educational training prescribed in item (iv); hereinafter referred to as "specified general educational training") (excluding persons set out in the following item): 40/100;

三a person whose required period for payment is three years or more, who has taken and completed specified general educational training, has made the acquisition, etc. of a qualification pertaining to that specified general educational training, and has been employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person (excluding a special elderly insured person; the same applies hereinafter in this Section) (limited to a person employed within one year counting from the day following the day on which the person completed that specified general educational training (including a person specified by the Director-General of the Employment Security Bureau as a person for whom it is difficult to be employed within one year counting from the day following that day of completion)), or is employed (limited to a person who is employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person on the day on which the person completed that specified general educational training and who has made the acquisition, etc. of a qualification pertaining to that specified general educational training within one year counting from the day following that day of completion (including a person specified by the Director-General of the Employment Security Bureau as a person who is unable, for unavoidable reasons, to make the acquisition, etc. of a qualification pertaining to that specified general educational training within one year counting from the day following that day of completion)): 50/100;

四a person whose required period for payment is three years or more and who has taken and completed educational training designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as educational training that, among job-related educational training necessary for employment security and promotion of job placement, is specialized and practical and contributes to mid- to long-term career formation (hereinafter referred to as "specialized practical educational training") (including a person who is taking that specialized practical educational training) (excluding persons set out in the following item and item (vi)): 50/100;

五a person whose required period for payment is three years or more, who has taken and completed specialized practical educational training, has made the acquisition, etc. of a qualification pertaining to that specialized practical educational training, and has been employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person (limited to a person employed within one year counting from the day following that day of completion (including a person specified by the Director-General of the Employment Security Bureau as a person for whom it is difficult to be employed within one year counting from the day following that day of completion); the same applies in the following item), or is employed (limited to a person who is employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person on that day of completion and who has made the acquisition, etc. of a qualification pertaining to that specialized practical educational training within one year counting from the day following that day of completion (including a person specified by the Director-General of the Employment Security Bureau as a person who is unable, for unavoidable reasons, to make the acquisition, etc. of a qualification pertaining to that specialized practical educational training within one year counting from the day following that day of completion); the same applies in that item (excluding (b)(1))) (excluding persons set out in that item): 70/100;

六a person whose required period for payment is three years or more, who has taken and completed specialized practical educational training, has made the acquisition, etc. of a qualification pertaining to that specialized practical educational training, and has been employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person (excluding a person for whom the period added under Article 101-2-5, paragraph (1) exceeds two years), or is employed, among whom a person for whom the amount set out in (a) is an amount equivalent to 105/100 of the amount set out in (b) or more: 80/100.

イthe amount equivalent to the daily amount of wages that would be calculated where the provisions of Article 17, paragraph (1) or (2) of the Act are applied by deeming the wages paid during six consecutive months (referred to as the "target period" in Article 101-2-13, paragraph (7), item (i)) (excluding wages paid temporarily and wages paid for each period exceeding three months) in the period until the day on which one year has elapsed counting from the day on which the person completed that specialized practical educational training, made the acquisition, etc. of the qualification pertaining to that specialized practical educational training, and was employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person (for a person employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person, the period until the day on which one year has elapsed counting from the day on which the person made the acquisition, etc. of the qualification pertaining to that specialized practical educational training) to be the wages prescribed in Article 17 of the Act;

ロthe amounts specified respectively in the relevant provisions, according to the categories of persons set out in (1) and (2) below:

（１）a person who is employed as a generally insured person or an elderly insured person on the basis day prescribed in Article 60-2, paragraph (1), item (i) of the Act (limited to that pertaining to specialized practical educational training; hereinafter referred to as the "basis day" in this Section): the amount equivalent to the daily amount of wages that would be calculated where the provisions of Article 17 of the Act (excluding paragraph (4); the same applies in (2)) are applied by deeming the day before the basis day to be the day of separation from service pertaining to the recipient qualification;

（２）a person not falling under (1): the daily amount of wages calculated under Article 17 of the Act with regard to that person's most recent separation from service before the basis day.
