Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Concerning Elderly Insured Persons
第三条（高年齢被保険者に関する経過措置）
A person who was employed on or after the day on which the person reached the age of 65 and who has continuously been employed since before the effective date (excluding a specially insured person in short-term employment prescribed in Article 38, paragraph (1) of the Employment Insurance Act and an insured day worker prescribed in Article 43, paragraph (1) of that Act) is deemed to have been employed in the covered undertaking of the employer concerned on the effective date, and the provisions of the Employment Insurance Act after the Article 2 amendment apply to that person.
六十五歳に達した日以後に雇用された者であって、施行日前から引き続いて雇用されている者（雇用保険法第三十八条第一項に規定する短期雇用特例被保険者及び同法第四十三条第一項に規定する日雇労働被保険者を除く。）については、施行日に当該者が当該事業主の適用事業に雇用されたものとみなして、第二条改正後雇用保険法の規定を適用する。
