Article 95-3Special Rules for Individual Number Cards Bearing License Information Records
第九十五条の三（免許情報記録個人番号カードの特則）
With regard to the application of Article 92, paragraph (2) and Article 93, paragraph (2) to an Individual Number Card bearing a license information record, in Article 92, paragraph (2), the phrase "issue a license for that different type of license, with the particulars relating to the license that person currently holds entered on it, in exchange for the license that person currently has" is deemed to be replaced with "rewrite the license information record (meaning the license information record prescribed in Article 95-2, paragraph (2), item (i)) recorded on that person's Individual Number Card bearing a license information record (meaning the Individual Number Card bearing a license information record prescribed in Article 95-2, paragraph (4); the same applies hereinafter) to one relating to that different type of license and the license that person currently holds"; and in Article 93, paragraph (2), the phrase "the particulars relating to the conditions on that person's license" is deemed to be replaced with "the particulars relating to the conditions (excluding those relating to a provisional license) in the segmented part of that person's Individual Number Card bearing a license information record (meaning the segmented part prescribed in Article 95-2, paragraph (1))", and the phrase "enter" with "record by Electronic or Magnetic Means (meaning Electronic or Magnetic Means prescribed in the following Article)".
免許情報記録個人番号カードについての第九十二条第二項及び第九十三条第二項の規定の適用については、第九十二条第二項中「その異なる種類の免許に係る免許証にその者が現に受けている免許に係る事項を記載して、その者が現に有する免許証と引換えに交付する」とあるのは「その者の免許情報記録個人番号カード（第九十五条の二第四項に規定する免許情報記録個人番号カードをいう。以下同じ。）に記録された免許情報記録（同条第二項第一号に規定する免許情報記録をいう。）をその異なる種類の免許及びその者が現に受けている免許に係るものに書き換える」と、第九十三条第二項中「免許証に当該条件」とあるのは「免許情報記録個人番号カードの区分部分（第九十五条の二第一項に規定する区分部分をいう。）に当該条件（仮免許に係るものを除く。）」と、「記載しなければ」とあるのは「電磁的方法（次条に規定する電磁的方法をいう。）により記録しなければ」とする。
