Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day on which 20 days have elapsed from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二十日を経過した日から施行する。

第五条（刑事訴訟法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
A victim of the crime under Article 178-2 of the former Act or an attempt thereof, the crime under Article 181, paragraph (3) of the former Act, or the crime under the first sentence of Article 241 of the former Act or an attempt thereof in the case where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions is deemed to be a person set forth in item (i) of Article 157-4, paragraph (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as amended by the provisions of the preceding Article (referred to as the "New Code of Criminal Procedure" in the following paragraph) for the application of that paragraph during the period from the day this Act comes into effect until the day preceding the day on which the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iv) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Code of Criminal Procedure, etc. (Act No. 54 of 2016; hereinafter in this paragraph referred to as the "2016 Code of Criminal Procedure, etc. Amendment Act") come into effect (hereinafter in this paragraph referred to as the "item (iv) Effective Date"), and is deemed to be a person set forth in item (i) of Article 157-6, paragraph (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as amended by the provisions of Article 2 of the 2016 Code of Criminal Procedure, etc. Amendment Act for the application of that paragraph on or after the item (iv) Effective Date.
附則第二条第一項の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合における旧法第百七十八条の二の罪若しくはその未遂罪、旧法第百八十一条第三項の罪又は旧法第二百四十一条前段の罪若しくはその未遂罪の被害者は、この法律の施行の日から刑事訴訟法等の一部を改正する法律（平成二十八年法律第五十四号。以下この項において「刑事訴訟法等一部改正法」という。）附則第一条第四号に掲げる規定の施行の日（以下この項において「第四号施行日」という。）の前日までの間は、前条の規定による改正後の刑事訴訟法（次項において「新刑事訴訟法」という。）第百五十七条の四第一項の規定の適用については同項第一号に掲げる者とみなし、第四号施行日以後は、刑事訴訟法等一部改正法第二条の規定による改正後の刑事訴訟法第百五十七条の六第一項の規定の適用については同項第一号に掲げる者とみなす。
A case relating to the crime under Article 178-2 of the former Act or an attempt thereof, the crime under Article 181, paragraph (3) of the former Act, or the crime under Article 241 of the former Act or an attempt thereof in the case where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions is deemed to be a case set forth in item (i) of Article 290-2, paragraph (1) of the New Code of Criminal Procedure for the application of that paragraph.
附則第二条第一項の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合における旧法第百七十八条の二の罪若しくはその未遂罪、旧法第百八十一条第三項の罪又は旧法第二百四十一条の罪若しくはその未遂罪に係る事件は、新刑事訴訟法第二百九十条の二第一項の規定の適用については同項第一号に掲げる事件とみなす。
