Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Cabinet Order comes into effect on October 1, 2006.
この政令は、平成十八年十月一日から施行する。

第二条（保険医療機関等の指定等の要件に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 65, paragraph (3), items (iii) and (iv), Article 71, paragraph (2), items (ii) and (iii), Article 80, items (viii) and (ix), Article 81, items (v) and (vi), Article 89, paragraph (4), items (v) and (vi), and Article 95, items (viii) and (ix) of the Health Insurance Act (Act No. 70 of 1922) do not apply with regard to the sentence concerned of a person who has been sentenced for an act committed before the day of enforcement of this Cabinet Order (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date") and has thereby come to fall under those provisions.
健康保険法（大正十一年法律第七十号）第六十五条第三項第三号及び第四号、第七十一条第二項第二号及び第三号、第八十条第八号及び第九号、第八十一条第五号及び第六号、第八十九条第四項第五号及び第六号並びに第九十五条第八号及び第九号の規定は、この政令の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）前にした行為により刑に処せられ、これらの規定に該当することとなった者に係る当該刑については、適用しない。
The provisions of Article 80, item (x), Article 81, item (vii) and Article 95, item (x) of the Health Insurance Act do not apply with regard to the violation concerned of a person who has come to fall under those provisions due to a violation committed before the Effective Date.
The provisions of Article 89, paragraph (4), item (iv) of the Health Insurance Act do not apply with regard to the rescission concerned of a person whose designation under Article 88, paragraph (1) of that Act relating to a designated home-nursing provider is rescinded before the Effective Date or on or after the Effective Date by reason of having fallen under any of the items of Article 95 of that Act before the Effective Date.
健康保険法第八十九条第四項第四号の規定は、施行日前に同法第九十五条各号のいずれかに該当したことにより施行日前若しくは施行日以後に指定訪問看護事業者に係る同法第八十八条第一項の指定を取り消された者に係る当該取消しについては、適用しない。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Order for Enforcement of the Health Insurance Act
第三条（健康保険法施行令の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to the amounts of burial charges under the provisions of the Health Insurance Act, benefits provided under Article 100, paragraph (2) of that Act (including the case where it applies mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 105, paragraph (2) of that Act) or Article 136, paragraph (2) of that Act, dependent's burial charges under the provisions of that Act, or lump-sum allowance for childbirth and childcare or lump-sum allowance for dependent's childbirth and childcare under the provisions of that Act, in relation to a person who died or gave birth before the Effective Date and who was an insured person, a specially-insured day laborer, a person who had been either of them, or a dependent, the provisions then in force continue to govern.

第四条
With regard to the payment of high-cost medical expenses under the provisions of the Health Insurance Act for medical care received before the Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
