第四号新銀行法（だいよんごうしんぎんこうほう）

In Article 27 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 79 of 2023, this Act (the Banking Act) as amended by Article 12 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iv) of those supplementary provisions.

第四号旧銀行法（だいよんごうきゅうぎんこうほう）

This Act as it stood before Article 12 of Act No. 79 of 2023 amended it.

第三号旧地方税法（だいさんごうきゅうちほうぜいほう）

Short name for the Local Tax Act as it stood before the provisions listed in Article 1, item 3 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 47 of 2015 amended it; fixed asset tax (固定資産税) on the depreciable assets of Article 349-3, paragraph 18 of that wording newly built before the day those provisions came into effect stays under the former rules.

Short name for the Act on Arrangement of Relevant Acts Incidental to Enforcement of the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (Act No. 28 of 2013).

第九号改正後健保法（だいきゅうごうかいせいごけんぽほう）

In Article 25, paragraph (3) and Article 38 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 74 of 2025, the Health Insurance Act as amended by Article 33 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, paragraph (1), item (ix) of those supplementary provisions, which come into effect on a date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets within three years of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication) on 20 June 2025.

第三号改正後国民年金法（だいさんごうかいせいごこくみんねんきんほう）

In Articles 3 to 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 64 of 2014, this Act as amended by Article 1 of that Act, in the part listed in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions.

The date the amendments listed in Article 1, item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code, etc. (Act No. 24 of 2021) come into effect: a date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, within three years of the day that Act was promulgated (公布), 28 April 2021.

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ix) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 2019 come into effect — among them the part of its amendment to Article 17 of this Act that concerns items (v) and (vi) — a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) within three years of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication).

新番号利用法（しんばんごうりようほう）

In Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2015, the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (Act No. 27 of 2013) as amended by Article 4 of Act No. 65 of 2015.

第二号施行日（だいにごうしこうび）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 90 of 2007, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of those supplementary provisions, among them amendments to this Act's rules on refusing, revoking and suspending licenses, come into effect: a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) within two years of the Act's promulgation.
