Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2027; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、令和九年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Review
第二条（検討）
After the promulgation of this Act, from the viewpoint of realizing a sustainable medical insurance system, the government is to promptly examine further reforms to ensure the appropriate implementation of necessary insurance benefits, etc. and fairness of burdens between and within generations, in response to changes in the socioeconomic situation and the needs of Society, and take required measures based on the results.
政府は、この法律の公布後において、持続可能な医療保険制度を実現する観点から、社会経済情勢の変化及び社会の要請に対応し、必要な保険給付等の適切な実施並びに世代間及び世代内の負担の公平性の確保を図るための更なる改革について速やかに検討を加え、その結果に基づいて所要の措置を講ずるものとする。
In addition to the matters specified in the preceding paragraph, the government is to, with a target of five years after the enforcement of this Act, taking into account the conditions of enforcement, etc. of the respective Acts as amended by this Act (referred to as "the respective Acts as amended" in this paragraph), examine the provisions of the respective Acts as amended where it finds it necessary, and take required measures based on the results.
前項に定める事項のほか、政府は、この法律の施行後五年を目途として、この法律による改正後のそれぞれの法律（以下この項において「改正後の各法律」という。）の施行の状況等を勘案し、必要があると認めるときは、改正後の各法律の規定について検討を加え、その結果に基づいて所要の措置を講ずるものとする。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Preparatory Acts Accompanying Partial Amendment of the National Health Insurance Act
第六条（国民健康保険法の一部改正に伴う準備行為）
A Federation of National Health Insurance Associations may, even before the item (vi) Effective Date, take preparatory actions necessary for carrying out operations relating to the examination of and payment for claims for delivery expenses prescribed in Article 85-3, paragraph (1) of the item (vi) new National Health Insurance Act, and to the payment of lump-sum allowance at childbirth.
国民健康保険団体連合会は、第六号施行日前においても、第六号新国民健康保険法第八十五条の三第一項に規定する分娩費の請求に関する審査及び支払並びに出産時一時金の支払に関する業務の実施に必要な準備行為をすることができる。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 7
第七条
A Municipality (including special wards; the same applies in Article 21 of the Supplementary Provisions) or National Health Insurance Society may, even before the item (vi) Effective Date, enact or revise a Municipal Ordinance or constitution and take other actions necessary for the enforcement of the item (vi) new National Health Insurance Act (including orders based thereon).
市町村（特別区を含む。附則第二十一条において同じ。）又は国民健康保険組合は、第六号新国民健康保険法（これに基づく命令を含む。）の施行のために必要な条例又は規約の制定又は改正その他の行為については、第六号施行日前においても行うことができる。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 38Delegation to Cabinet Order
第三十八条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided from Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions to the preceding Article, any transitional measures (including those concerning penal provisions) necessary for the enforcement of this Act are provided by Cabinet Order.
附則第三条から前条までに規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
