The date on which the provisions listed in Article 1, item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code, etc. (Act No. 45 of 2026) come into force. The exact day is not fixed yet.

Article 64第六十四条

    In the case of an acknowledgment of parentage made in a will, the executor must submit a notification acknowledging parentage pursuant to the provisions of Articles 60 through 61 within ten days from the day on which they assumed the role, together with a copy of the will , etc. in which the acknowledgment is made (meaning the will, etc. prescribed in Article 1004, paragraph (1) of the Civil Code; the same applies in this Article and Article 81, paragraph (2)) or a document stating the content of the will, etc.

    遺言による認知の場合には、遺言執行者は、その就職の日から十日以内に、認知に関する遺言の謄本を添附書等（民法第千四条第一項に規定する遺言書等をいう。以下この条及び第八十一条第二項において同じ。）の謄本又は遺言書等の内容を記載した書面を添付して、第六十条又は第六十一条の規定に従つて、その届出をしなければならない。

    The written notification must state the following particulars and be accompanied by a copy of the will , etc. relating to the designation of the guardian of a minor or a document stating the content of the will, etc.:

    届書には、次に掲げる事項を記載し、未成年後見人の指定に関する遺言書等の謄本又は遺言書等の内容を記載した書面を添付しなければならない。
