Supplementary Provisions, Article 9Transitional Measures Concerning the Amount of the Special Lump Sum Payment
第九条（特例一時金の額に関する経過措置）
The application of the provisions of Article 40 of the new Employment Insurance Act to specially qualified recipients whose day of separation from service pertaining to the special recipient qualification is before the effective date (hereinafter referred to as "former specially qualified recipients") is as prescribed in the following items:
with regard to the application of the provisions of Article 40, paragraph (1), the phrase "qualified recipient prescribed in Article 15, paragraph (1)" in that paragraph is deemed to be replaced with "former qualified recipient subject to the old daily amount prescribed in Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employment Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 57 of 1994)", and the phrase "Articles 16 through 18" with "that Article";
第四十条第一項の規定の適用については、同項中「第十五条第一項に規定する受給資格者」とあるのは「雇用保険法等の一部を改正する法律（平成六年法律第五十七号）附則第二条に規定する旧日額対象の旧受給資格者」と、「第十六条から第十八条まで」とあるのは「同条」とする。
