第八条（六十五歳の定年等により退職した者に関する経過措置）
With regard to the payment of the job applicant benefits for former elderly qualified recipients who receive payment of the basic allowance pursuant to the provisions of Article 37-6 of the former Employment Insurance Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern; provided, however, that the daily amount of the basic allowance for former elderly qualified recipients for whom the first day on which they receive payment of the basic allowance based on the recipient qualification acquired by being deemed to be qualified recipients pursuant to the provisions of that Article is on or after August 1, 1996 is calculated by applying the provisions of Articles 16 through 18 of the new Employment Insurance Act.
旧雇用保険法第三十七条の六の規定により基本手当の支給を受ける旧高年齢受給資格者に係る求職者給付の支給については、なお従前の例による。ただし、同条の規定により受給資格者とみなされることにより取得した受給資格に基づく基本手当の支給を受ける初日が平成八年八月一日以後である旧高年齢受給資格者に係る基本手当の日額については、新雇用保険法第十六条から第十八条までの規定を適用して算定する。
