Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Transitional Measures Concerning the Daily Amount of the Injury and Disease Allowance

第六条（傷病手当の日額に関する経過措置）

The daily amount of the injury and disease allowance for former qualified recipients subject to the old daily amount is, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 37, paragraph (3) of the new Employment Insurance Act, the amount equivalent to the daily amount of the basic allowance under the provisions of Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions.

旧日額対象の旧受給資格者に係る傷病手当の日額については、新雇用保険法第三十七条第三項の規定にかかわらず、附則第二条の規定による基本手当の日額に相当する額とする。

旧日額対象の旧受給資格者（きゅうにちがくたいしょうのきゅうじゅきゅうしかくしゃ）
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 57 of 1994, a former qualified recipient (旧受給資格者) — one whose separation from service was before that Act came into effect — whose first day of receiving the basic allowance (基本手当) was before 1 August 1996; the old rules on the daily amount of the allowance, the daily amount of wages and their automatic change continue to apply to them.
