Supplementary Provisions, Article 49-2Measures Concerning Former Corporate-Type Pension Plan Participants
第四十九条の二（企業型年金加入者であった者に係る措置）
Where the surviving Pension Fund Association is carrying out the business set forth in Article 40, paragraph (2), item (vi) of the Supplementary Provisions, when it has received the transfer of the individual account assets prescribed in Article 54-5, paragraph (2) of the Defined Contribution Pension Act as applied with replacement of terms pursuant to the provisions of Article 38, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions, pursuant to the provisions of Article 54-5, paragraph (2) of the Defined Contribution Pension Act, the surviving Pension Fund Association is to pay, using the transferred Funds as the source and as specified by Cabinet Order, the surviving Pension Fund Association old-age benefit or the surviving Pension Fund Association survivor benefit to a former corporate-type pension plan participant prescribed in Article 54-5, paragraph (1) of the Defined Contribution Pension Act (hereinafter referred to as a "former corporate-type pension plan participant") or that person's surviving family.
存続連合会が附則第四十条第二項第六号に掲げる業務を行っている場合にあっては、存続連合会は、附則第三十八条第三項の規定により読み替えて適用する確定拠出年金法第五十四条の五第二項の規定により同項に規定する個人別管理資産の移換を受けたときは、当該移換金を原資として、政令で定めるところにより、同条第一項に規定する企業型年金加入者であった者（以下「企業型年金加入者であった者」という。）又はその遺族に対し、存続連合会老齢給付金又は存続連合会遺族給付金の支給を行うものとする。
When the surviving Pension Fund Association has come to pay the surviving Pension Fund Association old-age benefit or the surviving Pension Fund Association survivor benefit pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, it must notify that former corporate-type pension plan participant or that person's surviving family to that effect.
