The provisions of Article 14, paragraph (3), Article 37-3, paragraph (1), Article 39, paragraph (1) and Article 3 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Employment Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "amended Employment Insurance Act") apply to the insured period (meaning the insured period prescribed in Article 14, paragraph (1) of the Employment Insurance Act; the same applies hereinafter in this Article) of a person whose date of separation from service pertaining to the calculation of the insured period (hereinafter referred to as the "date of separation" in this Article) falls on or after the date on which the provisions listed in item (ii) of the preceding Article come into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "item (ii) effective date" in this Article), and with regard to the insured period of a person whose date of separation falls before the item (ii) effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
