With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 37-4 of the new Employment Insurance Act to elderly qualified recipients whose day of separation from service pertaining to the recipient qualification for the elderly is before the effective date, the phrase "in the case where the provisions of Articles 16 through 18 (excluding Article 17, paragraph (4), item (ii)) are applied, deeming the person to be a qualified recipient prescribed in Article 15, paragraph (1)" in paragraph (1) of that Article is deemed to be replaced with "in the case where the provisions of Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Employment Insurance Act and the Act on the Collection, etc. of Insurance Premiums of Labor Insurance (Act No. 46 of 2011; hereinafter referred to as the "amending Act" in this Article) are applied, deeming the person to be a former qualified recipient prescribed in that Article (excluding the case pertaining to Article 17, paragraph (4), item (ii) prior to the amendment by Article 1 of the amending Act)", and the phrase "Article 17, paragraph (4), item (ii), (d)" in paragraph (2) of that Article with "Article 17, paragraph (4), item (ii), (d) prior to the amendment by Article 1 of the amending Act".
